The only bad thing about watching golf on CBS is watching golf on CBS. With the exception of Bill McAtee and Ian Baker-Finch, the announcers are horrible – and chief among them are David Feherty and Gary McCord. Please, CBS, please – send these guys to the Nationwide Tour, or the LPGA Tour, or the Champions Tiur, or to bowling, or billiards … but get them off the air for PGA tournaments.
It’s not about the announcers, gentlemen – it’s about the golfers and the tournament. Please abide by that.
Glad you didn’t pick on IBF. I met him and he’s darn cool.
Could be worse though. Could be Chris Berman announcing.
