
Below is a video of my friend Jesse Ortiz, designer for Bobby Jones golf. Having now met Jesse in person I can see why he’s so successful. He’s not only brilliant in design and physics, he’s passionate about how that relates to golf and aesthetics.
A great quote from Jesse: “It’s against my religion to make ugly golf clubs.”
In the video below, Jesse discusses the new wedges he’s created along with short game guru Dave Pelz. This isn’t a short clip either. Jesse talked with me about these wedges for nine minutes!

Tony, did Jesse mention what the shafts were going to be in these? I usually play 6.5 spinners and did not see that there is any choice in shaft options.
