
How many times have the golf media or fans concluded that since a certain 2-man team (or the USA Team for that matter) played well in the President’s Cup, they’d be a great team in the Ryder Cup? How many times were they wrong? Just about every time.

The Ryder Cup and the President’s Cup are not the same. The intensity, seriousness and countless other intangibles are as different as John Daly and Tiger Woods’ workout routines.
