junior golf apparelPGA Tour players like Tiger Woods, Aaron Baddeley, Sergio Garcia, Camilo Villegas and Ian Poulter aren’t the only golfers who can dress in hip, stylish golf clothes. Now with the cool threads from S & J 18th Tee, juniors can look just as stylin’ on the golf course.

S & J makes many different color combinations of shirts and pants made from 100% knitted pique cotton or their new microfiber and dri-fit materials.

S & J’s mission

“S & J 18th Tee Inc. will provide affordable and quality junior clothing line while promoting an uplifting and enjoyable atmosphere.”

Color coded

A very cool thing S & J does for the younger players, is color coding their outfits. This way they player can easily tell if a pant/shirt combination matches. Hey I could use this for my adult golf clothes. I finally just went to black outfits to be sure they match!

Adjustable

S & J’s golf pants provide a highly needed flexibility due to the extreme variations which can be found in youngsters’ bodies. Some kids are very skinny and some are heavy. Each pair of S & J pants has an inner strap which provides an adjustable waist for all those varying sizes.

Magnetic ball marker

A cool feature S&J builds into their junior golf pants/shorts is a front flap with a magnet inside. The magnet provides an easy access place for a ball marker. No more fishing around in your pockets for that elusive marker.

Velcro secured pockets

To help prevent the junior player from losing score cards or having things fall out of their pockets, the pockets in the S&J pants/shorts are extra deep.

Critic’s corner

The only issue I’ve had with the S&J products is fitting them. Each shirt and pant is sized according to age. I found many of the cuts to be on the small side. For instance, for my 11 year old son I had to get sizes in the 14 or 16 range for him to feel comfortable.

Conclusion

When I saw S&J’s booth at the 2007 PGA Merchandise show I was very excited. I thought it was really cool to see a company dedicated to helping junior golf and helping the players look and feel good on the course.

S&J’s products are hip, cool looking, durable, thoughtful and well designed.
