I’m on vacation for a few days. I’m watching the U.S. Open unfold from my hotel room here in Primm, Nevada. Doesn’t look like Phil Mickelson’s wrist is going to hold out, especially with how many times he’s knocking it into that deep rough. Tiger Woods is right there at +1 after day 1. Four players are at even par or better. Yup, a U.S. Open alright.
It’s a nice balmy 105 here so I’m jumping in the pool… Forecast for tomorrow: 107.
Primm Valley Golf
I’ll be doing TWO course reviews very soon. These would be the Desert and Lakes courses at Primm Valley. These are both Tom Fazio designs. I played the Desert course today (see pic) and it was awesome. Stay tuned.
Note: If you have emailed me I can’t respond right now. My outgoing mail server doesn’t work from here. I’ll respond (or send my responses I’ve already typed) when I get back by Sunday.

I play in the low 80's. If it's any hotter than that, I won't play.
