
I get an email from a woman I’ve never met. It simply says “Augusta National isn’t always so beautiful” and there’s this photo attached (below). I looked at her name and it wasn’t Martha Burke.

Golf blog and site hosting.

The golf course is closed from May or June until October.
I would imagine that a shot like that could be taken in the early summer months while more important matters are tended to.
Half the time, at least one green is ripped up over the summer months.
