Tiger Woods is struggling today. He was three over on the front.

1:45 PM ET:

I just watched him hit a wedge short on the great par-3 twelve which hit the front bank and backed into Rae’s creek.

Tiger is looking at a double bogey five and the possibility of him missing the cut may become a reality.

1:50 PM ET:

Tiger makes a great putt for bogey on 12.

2:07 PM ET:

Tiger knocks his 2nd shot on 13 into Rae’s creek. What is he doing???

2:16 PM ET:

Tiger knocks in a five footer for par on 13.

Masters Friday Fred Couples trying to make the cut

1:41 PM PT:

I email Tony saying “been watching the masters all day - rooting for freddy to hang in there”

1:42 PM PT:

Tony emails back saying “If he just hangs, he’ll make the cut… ”

1:43 PM PT:

Freddy promptly goes bogey, bogey, double bogey

2:15 PM PT:

I email Tony “Yikes I think I jinxed him by emailing you”
Tony does not reply

4:25 PM PT:

Freddy finished Birdie, par, par, par, par, par to make the cut on the number

Not to add to Tiger’s woes but that sure looked like a cold stone whiff off the tee; replays clearly showed his club head well past the impact point before he supposedly ‘aborted’ the swing. True, the USGA rules exhonerated him,but it looked like he ‘went around’.

miktchr: If I tried to do what tiger did there they’d carry me off on a stretcher and I’d be in traction for 3 weeks…
