How ironic is this story? Fuzzy Zoeller wanted to sue Wikipedia but instead is tracking down the author of some Wiki comments which painted Fuzzy in a negative light. I say ironic because as BogeyMan points out, Fuzzy was the one who made some pretty racist and negative comments about Tiger Woods after his first Masters victory in 1997. GolfBlogger also chimes in with a post on this subject.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you’re a mile away and you have their shoes.

While Fuzzy’s comments were out of line, apparently it wasn’t as big of a deal as the media made it out to be. Joe Clark, the PGA Master Teaching Professional was standing on the putting green when Fuzzy made the original remark directly to Tiger. Tiger laughed, as coming from Fuzzy it was no big deal. He said it directly to the man before he ever said it on camera. If Tiger had actually been offended by it the media would have never known.
That being said, I can understand why Fuzzy would sue.
