Bad camera work at the Ryder Cup

During events like this I tend to blog whatever leaks out of my cranium. Yesterday I made 5 posts and today I imagine there will be even more.

The USA team is already struggling and I don’t see it getting any better.

One thing that is bugging me about this week’s coverage is the camera work. The camera is staying on the players’ finishes so long that we aren’t even getting to see the ball finish. Sergio Garcia just hit a shot and the camera stayed on him forever. Then they cut to the green where there were two balls sitting there. I don’t know which one was Sergio’s since I didn’t see it finish.

I think part of the problem was all of the rain. If they had followed the ball the camera would have had a lense full of rain.

One that annoyed me was the camera with the White Spot on it. Couldn’t figure out what that was.
