I have a matchplay match tomorrow. It’s the first round of my club’s championship event. I come in as the “returning champion” and therefore the #1 seed. #1 plays the highest seed. But hey this is match play and anyone can have a hot or cold day so nothing is guaranteed and I know that.
I just plan on hitting fairways and greens and playing a solid round.
A report will follow.
I’ll have my thoughts on the British Open shortly too, as soon as I think of something worth writing ![]()

In golf, you keep your head down and follow through. In the vice presidency, you keep your head up and follow through. It's a big difference.

Go get ‘em, but if you end up playing coach Bevan, I would have a hard time rooting against him.

Not Bevan….YET. Man I played with him last year when he shot a 29 on the front and a 62 out there.
If I end up playing him I’ll just be trying to last as many holes as I can.
