Sergio at Medinah is ancient history

Are any of you sick of hearing about Sergio Garcia at Medinah in 1999 and seeing the footage of him running and skipping across the fairway after hitting that tree shot? I am. Enough of the Medinah talk already.

Sergio’s “potential” is huge yes. But as of yet, that potential hasn’t proven anything more than that he’s a better than average tour player and not capable of a major win.

A win this week will do the trick for Sergio, but I’m afraid his mental and putting problems will once again cost him a major victory.

I’ve been sick of Tiger Woods since 2000 but he isn’t going away either. And when he does (these last two months) he was replaced in the media by Phil, another one I got sick of real fast. They are still talking about the Mickelslam even though it’s not possible now.

You have 4 weeks to go. Figure on seeing that shot a bunch more if you are watching any golf.

you nailed that one on the head…

It is interesting Miranda that your sick of Tiger but yet he is a winner and proven himself as the best closer in golf, period and that is why he is still the number one player in the world. I said it once and will say it again, Sergio will never win a major because and to quote my man Stephen A. Smith, “quite frankly” he does not have the goods to close the deal. As far as Phil, he is a whiner and a big baby. He is still embarassed about his stupidity at wing foot and because he could not deliver yet again on sunday in a major when it counts, he decides to badmouth the R&A for their cup placement. Lastly, I have to just laugh at the folks on his bandwagon who just outright “will” this guy to win if I must say. He has been on tour longer then Tiger, yet has only three majors to show for it and people are making him out to be the number one in the world? Hmmmmmm,so the fact that he sucked prior to Tiger turning pro is somehow erased now that he has FINALLY won some big ones, that is insulting to all of us who love and play this game

Damn I guess I should listen to myself. I picked Geoff Ogilvy to win the US Open too. I REALLY should just go to vegas I guess…hehe.
