The latest poll is now running! Thanks to a great suggestion from Cal the poll question is:
How far do you live from the nearest course?
Since I just moved (3rd time in the last year for those who are counting) I’m the closest residence to one of my home courses: River Oaks. I’m right on #1 tee and with a Pinseeker 1500 I shot my pad from the cash register in the pro shop at 152 yards.
My answer: ON the course.

| 2008 Masters BlogCapsule |
Golf blog and site hosting.
The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.

I live two blocks from my home course — and within five miles of nine others.
There are more than 800 courses in Michigan, and you can’t hit a five wood without hitting one.

I would have to say that I am about 10 miles from the nearest course I play which is the Oak Quarry Golf Club in Riverside, California. I live in Moreno valley (March Air Force Base) which is in the middle up highway 60…. I go west I have LA or I go east I have Palm Springs, which I play the Stadium Course at PGA West often…

I’m less than a solid PW (~120)from the 12th fairway of my home course, The Lake CC. My EZ-Go is parked next to the Harley in the extra garage, so I hop of one and onto the other
