2005 LPGA Rookie of the Year Switches Ball for Technological Edge

Covington, Ga. — Adding to its worldwide TOUR Team, Bridgestone Golf, Inc. officially announced today that LPGA dynamo Paula Creamer will play a Precept golf ball in all professional tournaments beginning with the Women’s World Cup in Sun City, South Africa on Jan 20th, 2006. Creamer will kick-off the 2006 season using a prototype Precept ball in all professional competitions.

With the addition of Creamer, the Bridgestone Golf worldwide TOUR team will boast two of the hottest young golfers on the LPGA TOUR, already having a full equipment deal in Japan with 2005 Q-School Medalist Ai Miyazato.

As part of the arrangement, Creamer has worked with the Bridgestone/Precept product development team to create a new Precept prototype golf ball, which she expects to put in play at the beginning of the season.

“This is the first golf ball contract of my career and I am excited that it has come with Bridgestone/Precept Golf, a worldwide leader in golf ball technologies,” said Creamer. “Everything I do, I do with the goal in mind of becoming the #1-ranked women’s player in the world. I firmly believe that the quality of this golf ball and my 100% trust in its performance will help me get there.”

While the exact terms of the deal will remain undisclosed at this time, the company is pleased to report the contract is a multi-year deal.
