Back in 2000 a 4-some of golfers from Utah and Idaho got together for a little match. They didn’t play for money. They played for beer and bragging rights. 5 years later that match has turned into a three day, Ryder Cup style game with about 20 players. The location switches every year back and forth from Utah to Idaho. The winner gets to keep the “UtaIda” Cup.

I was “invited” to represent Utah this weekend and so far it’s been a ton of fun. Today we played at Wasatch Mountain State Park. WMSP has 36 holes, set in the beautiful Wasatch mountains. Fall is here and now the trees are starting to change colors. Check out these pictures of the leaves and awesome course.

Oh, by the way… We kicked Idaho’s potatoes today. Tomorrow is individual match play. I’m up against a 2 handicap so it should be a grudge match.

I’ve never swung a golf club in my life. At least not at a ball.
