The advantages of living on a golf course

June 26th, 2005

Tonight before dinner my kids and I went on a little walk for our evening ball search. We followed the river which is left of the 17th hole here. Then we hit the hazard right of the 16th green and fairway.

The take: 62 balls

Do you keep the balls with logos seperately ? I have a small collection at http://photos.soros.ca .. about 100-200 more that I haven’t photographed yet, all of them are from the Canadian Niagara region.

Nice take BTW, 62 is a pretty average night where I collect (alongside a road a lot slicers hit into.) Once during an all day session I brought home 350+… but that was a lot of work and countless thorns in my legs.

Yep I checked out your pictures. Quite the project. Lots ‘0 logo balls.

I basically try to find good balls and use them. The others I give to my kids or use as range balls… If I find a cool logo ball from say, the masters I put it in my little ball display.

350+ what a take! Yes, I’ve been getting the stickers out of my socks and shoes…
