Somehow I went 8/8 on my picks of the Bobby Jones Bracket. Despite that I was 18/32. Some of the “upsets” were surprising. Weir, Clarke, Hamilton, Pampling and Ames were all favorites but lost.
I did feel like a genius picking Daly.

The award for round 1 of the Accenture Match Play Championship goes to Thomas Levet. After he missed a par putt to keep his match with Kenny Perry alive, he hucked his putter into the lake!

The heavy rains are still causing the PGA problems. The 1st round of the Accenture Match play has now been postponed until Thursday.
I’ve been in Vegas for the last 3 days where the rains from LA had hit there too. Let me tell you I was afraid my car would be swamped several times. Vegas had more rain in 3 those days than they get in an average YEAR. Fortunately I wasn’t golfing there.

Due to the shortening of this tournament because of the heavy rains, this win does not count as “official” for Adam Scott. The $864,000 he made will surely spend “officially.”
